Anna Shevchenko
Founder and Managing Director, 3CN
Before starting and building 3CN, Anna worked with key government and industry decision makers in Britain, across Europe and CIS as a consultant, specializing in cross-cultural problems in business development and cross-cultural conflict management. Previously she worked in business development for two major British corporations.
She speaks 7 languages ( currently learning the 8th) and has lived and worked extensively in 32 countries.
Anna holds an MPhil degree from Cambridge University, where she researched the topic of cross-cultural attitudes to conflicts. She is the author of numerous articles on cross-cultural issues and four books and is often called upon as an expert by the media. She gives talks at conferences and masterclasses in leading educational institutions on the topics of ‘Culture and Strategy’ and ‘Culture and Conflicts’.
John Burbidge-King
CEO of Interchange, the leading UK company, specialising in reputation risk management.
Before John held senior executive positions in business from banking electronics to biometrics and security printing. He has lived in the Far East, the Arabian Gulf and California; worked and travelled to over 120 countries – from Chile to China and speaks Arabic, conversational Russian and French.
He is a member of the UK Fraud Advisory Panel and a Senior Warden of the Worshipful Company of World Traders.
Gilana Mikhailova

Director, 3CN Russia
In 2001 founded the agency ‘Delovoy protocol’, which is now the recognised leader in the field of cross-cultural communication, business ethics and protocol in Russia. She introduced the national awards and nationally recognized Masters programme in this field.
Gilana organised a number of international summits and forums, provided cross-cultural support to the World Biathlon championship and the 39th Chess Olympics, managed a two-year project on consolidation of the international branches of the leading bank.
Gilana has been advising leaders of industry and government in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan for a number of years. Previously she worked at the Department of Strategic Communications of Mikhailov and Partners, and participated in the preparation of the presidential and parliamentary elections. Master of Psychology.
Simon Williams
An accomplished senior leader, strategist and educator
Simon has led and managed multi-national alliances and coalitions. Living and working internationally, Simon has led the development of strategic plans and turning plans into action across working , political and national cultures.
As a Rear Admiral Simon was senior mentor at the world renowned Royal College of Defence Studies in London, developing the strategic leadership potential of senior leaders from the international public and private sectors, drawn from over 90 countries.
Simon is a non-executive director with the Welsh Government’s Corporate Governance Group, and has a consultancy portfolio encompassing strategy and strategic leadership.
Camilla Seymour
Head of Members Events at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
A specialist on Britain’s political and social culture with exceptional knowledge of diplomatic protocol. Camilla is in charge of sourcing and arranging approximately 100 international speakers annually and the delivery of the Chatham House Prize award ceremony since its conception in 2005.
Previously Camilla worked in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Overseas Visitors Section and has been a Protocol Officer for successive French Ambassadors in London. She has delivered familiarization programmes and personal briefings on Britain’s political and social cultures not only in the UK, but also in Germany and Russia.
